Interested in promoting women’s sports in the United States?

CANA is seeking to partner with organizations that would benefit from the wide exposure to a global audience.  Netball is the most popular women’s team sport in the world, played in over 70 countries by over 7 million people.

Netball began in the United States but was taken to England and the Commonwealth where it has the highest number of active participants than any other sport.  Netball has come back to the United States and is gaining in popularity.

How will it benefit your organization?  Exposure in promoting a real team sport that promotes the empowerment of females worldwide.  CANA is making a concerted push throughout the New York Metropolitan area to make Netball a household name, generating fans and players as it goes.  Netball is easy to become addicted to – a sport that everyone can play and when you take it to the international level a fast action packed sport that requires a high level of skill, determination and fitness to pull off a win.

CANA has already achieved so much in such a short time. 

  • CANA boasts a continued growth in membership throughout the Tri State Area.  More and more affiliated netball clubs are forming in cities throughout New York each year.  Your organization can be a catalyst in the success of Netball as it grows and sending your organizations message throughout New York and the United States.
  • CANA puts together a dedicated and successful Netball Team and sent them to compete in the USA  Championships each year.  To date the CANA squad is undefeated and are expected to defend their championship in 2007.

Opportunities for your organization in 2007.  There are great possibilities and potential - a synergy to be had.

  • CANA is currently preparing for the 2007 Summer season and the USA Championships.  CANA is putting together a selected set of athletes to come together as a team so that they can participate in the championships this year.
  • CANA is actively looking to become involved in every national tournaments – funding being our only hold back.
  • CANA is a registered not for profit organization and therefore all contributions are tax deductible.
